Virtual Info Session with the Arizona Refugee Resettlement Program (Part 2)

Join us on Zoom for an informative discussion with staff at the Arizona Refugee Resettlement Program (under the Dept. of Economic Security). This is not an introductory session but is geared toward anyone already working/volunteering in refugee resettlement who wants a deeper dive into topics like:

  • Benefits and resources

    • Public benefits and health insurance

    • How can refugees apply for benefits (when they can't read/speak English and no case worker is available)?

    • Resources for finding housing, jobs, emergency rental assistance, and other support

  • Long-term success

    • How does the state measure the success of refugee integration programs?

    • How are specific outcomes (economic self-sufficiency, language acquisition, etc.) tracked, and is more help needed in this area?

    • What gaps exist (from the state's perspective), and how can community members help?

This is Part 2 of a two-part series. Register here for the Zoom link!
