Cambodian Christian Fellowship is a small Cambodian Church in Tempe that started 43 years ago. It was birthed out of the kindness of Grace Community Church (Tempe) who sponsored 200 Cambodian refugees in the early 80’s. Those who came from their home country had come via refugee camps after the Khmer Rouge genocide of the late 70's. Pastor Kim Lim and his wife heard the Good News of the gospel from a Cambodian American missionary while in their country under the rule of the Khmer Rouge but, when the opportunity presented itself, they all escaped to Thailand. In the refugee camps, Pastor Lim continued to grow in his knowledge and love of the Lord, as did many others in the camp. In 1980, after arriving in the United States, Pastor Lim became the pastor of the Cambodian Christian Fellowship. Today, the fellowship meets at Arizona Community Church in Tempe.
The full service is usually in Khmer (the national language of Cambodia), but for this special holiday service there will be an English translator. Join us as we celebrate the birth of King Jesus with our Cambodian brothers and sisters. After the service, there will be a special feast catered by the families of Cambodian Christian Fellowship.
